2008 Activities
Dancing Down the Halls!
April 12th was a GREAT DAY! Over 200 individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities showed up for the fun-packed day. We started off with an activity for those 15 and younger, there were crafts, games, tours of the East High, and time with East High Cheerleaders and Basketball players. Then for those 16 and younger take away the crafts and games add dinner and dancing and you have the perfect evening! Everyone got to learn the dance steps to “We’re All In This together!” Thank you to everyone who helped make this night a wonderful success!

"Horton Hears a Who"
What could be better than movies, popcorn, and a soda! Kelly and Marilyn Scott treated 100’s of individuals with disabilities to a free movie on March 20th! “Horton Hears a Who” was the movie that was enjoyed by both young and old alike. Marilyn had a sister with Down syndrome, who passed away, and this is her and Kelly’s way of staying connected. A big thank you to the Scotts for making this possible for so many people!!!

Scrapbooking
Moms, daughters, grandmas, aunts, and even brothers joined in on the fun on during our first ever scrapbooking fundraiser, held on January 19th. We had families come from Davis, Salt Lake and Utah Counties to scrapbook their beautiful, fun and creative pictures!
The UDSF wants to thank Marlene Kinikini and her friends for putting on this fun event. Marlene has cousins with Down syndrome and she thought this would be a fun thing to do for our community. She was right! We already have people talking about next year!
Thank you to the following individuals and companies for their wonderful donations that night.
