…and while I was watching The View they had a segment on summer gadgets. Several things caught my eye but the one thing that made me move off the couch and start writing was “The Giggle Bug Toddler Tracker”. One of our chapters presidents, Tracy Johnson, has a son who wears a tracking device provided by their local law enforcement agency. It is with a program called “Project Lifesaver.” You can learn more about this program by going to www.projectlifesaver.org or you can call the Garfield County Sheriff office at 435-676-2678 and ask them questions.

I received an email asking for our stars! This is what it said:

I will soon be casting a film in SLC called “The Jerk Theory” about a high school senior who reads that women are more attracted to jerks than nice guys, so he tries to prove the theory, which makes for some very comedic situations.
The filmmakers have chosen to reveal his true loving persona through his young sister (7-10 years old) who has Down syndrome. The boy’s relationship with her – and with his parents – is sweet and special. At no point is the little girl made fun of in ANY way.
I need to find that little girl and was hoping that you could point me in the right direction. It would be great if we could find a little girl with acting experience, but I will audition anyone and know that I will find a ‘natural.’
I would GREATLY appreciate any help I can get from your organization.
