Quarterly New Parent Breakfast

Dates:  March 18, May 27, August 19, November 4 (10am-noon)

Our New Parent Breakfasts provide an opportunity for new and expectant parents to socialize with others who are also beginning their journey of raising a child with Down syndrome.  Along with a light brunch, these meetings feature a presentation on topics of concern for new families (i.e. professional presenters on therapies, social services and financial planning or panels of parents and siblings of individuals with DS).

All expectant parents, new parents and grandparents of children with DS under the age of two are welcome to attend.

New Parent Breakfasts are held at the IMC Doty Education Center auditorium, located at 5121 S. Cottonwood Street in Murray.  (Directions:  take the I-15 exit at 53rd South, head East to Intermountain Medical Center and park on the Northwest end of the hospital.  Enter through the door marked #6.)

Reminders for the New Parent Breakfasts will be provided in our monthly electronic newsletter, The Low Down.
