Teen/Adult Activities

Our next activity for this group is coming up!

Saturday, June 21st, we will be VIP guests of the Salt Lake Lions, our own Ulimate Disc team.  We will meet at 4:30 at the Taylorville High School staudium for a picnic dinner, meet the team, and then watch the game together.  We will finish around 8:30.

The UDSF currently hosts two dances a year for our young, and young at heart, adults at various locations along the Wasatch front.  We recognize that there are very few resources and programs available for individuals with Down syndrome once they age out of the school system, and UDSF would like to increase its support of this population with additional activities and events designed especially to meet the social and life skills needs of older individuals.  But in order for UDSF to be successful in expanding its young adult services, we need help from parents and volunteers.  If you would like to form a young adult/adult community group in your area, or if you would be willing to host one monthly activity or to support our young adults in any way, please contact us at youngadults@udsf.org.
