Online Workshop Taylor Ricks

Hello! My name is Taylor Ricks. I am a wife and a mother to four children, ages 4-8. I love working with children and learning how they see and process the world. It is so fun and rewarding to see them develop and grow! I have worked with children in the school setting, at home as a parent, and with children of various disabilities as a foster parent for Utah Foster Care. I am a parent of two children with disabilities, one of whom has Down syndrome. They teach me more than I could ever imagine teaching them. I earned a Bachelor's of Science from Utah State University in Family Studies and a Master's of Education from Arizona State University in Applied Behavior Analysis. I love to use this background to teach and share ideas and techniques with parents as I believe the best learning happens in the home. For fun, I love to decorate, build furniture and woodworking projects, and go on adventures with my family! I look forward to meeting all of you through the Kindergarten Kickoff program! It is wonderfully created and has already been a great tool for me to learn how to better prepare my children for Kindergarten and the years far beyond that. I hope to get to know you, hear your ideas and successes, and work as a team to help each other find solutions to concerns. I'm excited to get started!
