Heather Burt began her journey as a volunteer with the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation shortly after her son, Hudson, was born with Down syndrome in 2020. Heather now oversees the New Parent Program that connects trained mentors with families in need of support. She helped develop the training program that sets up UDSF's mentors for success and looks forward to expanding UDSF's reach throughout the state of Utah. Prior to working for the Foundation, Heather had 20+ years of experience in management, training and development, recruitment, and she is currently working on a degree in business. She lives in Centerville where she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
